Logistics Policy

Shipping Policy

Last Updated: April 23, 2026

Please read our strict shipping and delivery protocols for custom physical hardware.

1. Scope of Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy (the "Policy") establishes the legally binding framework governing the physical fulfillment, logistics, and transportation of all bespoke goods manufactured by Robo Dynamics India LLP (hereinafter referred to as "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"). This encompasses, but is not limited to, 3D printed components, CNC machined parts, robotics hardware, and lab-manufactured prototyping outputs.

Digital Services Exclusion

EXCLUSION: This Policy categorically does not apply to SaaS subscriptions, ERP/CRM platforms, API access keys, software licenses, or any digital deliverables. All digital services are provisioned and activated electronically immediately upon successful payment authorization and gateway confirmation.

2. Production Timelines

Our physical products fall into two distinct logistical categories:

  • Custom Fabrication (Made-to-Order): Bespoke goods (e.g., custom 3D prints, CNC parts) are exclusively custom-manufactured. We do not maintain off-the-shelf inventory for these specific items.
  • Electronic Components (In-Stock): The Company actively maintains a robust inventory of standard electrical components, microcontrollers, sensors, and pre-assembled robotics hardware. These items are available for immediate dispatch upon payment confirmation.

2.1 Production Trigger

The formal manufacturing process is initiated exclusively upon the concurrent satisfaction of two prerequisites:

  1. Irrevocable confirmation of payment via our financial gateways.
  2. Successful completion of the Maker-Checker engineering validation of your submitted digital CAD/STL designs.

2.2 Manufacturing Duration

Standard production timelines typically range from 3 to 7 business days. However, this is an estimation and remains strictly contingent upon:

  • The geometric and structural complexity of the submitted design.
  • The specific material grade and polymer/alloy type selected.
  • Current machine queue volume and capacity constraints.
  • Rigorous post-processing and engineering validation requirements.

2.3 Delay Conditions

The Company shall bear no financial or operational liability for manufacturing delays directly resulting from:

  • Architectural or dimensional errors inherent in the client-submitted CAD files.
  • Technical infeasibility discovered during the initial printing phases.
  • Customer-requested modifications, pauses, or material changes instituted post-approval.
  • Unforeseen operational queue loads or macroeconomic material supply shortages.

3. Shipping & Delivery

3.1 Logistics Partners

Upon the successful completion of manufacturing and stringent Quality Assurance (QA) clearance, physical shipments are transferred to the custody of trusted third-party logistics providers. Primary partners include, but are not limited to, Delhivery, Blue Dart, and other registered enterprise courier services.

3.2 Delivery Timeline

For custom-manufactured products, the total delivery timeframe is calculated as Production Time + Shipping Time. Subsequent to formal dispatch from our laboratory facilities:

  • Standard Domestic Shipping: Delivery within the Republic of India typically requires an estimated 3 to 7 business days.
  • International Shipping: Cross-border logistics typically require 10+ business days.
  • This timeline is strictly approximate and subject to variances based on geographic location, customs clearance, and courier operational efficiency.

3.3 Tracking Information

A Tracking ID (Air Waybill or AWB number) will be systematically communicated via email and/or SMS upon dispatch. Tracking data relies entirely on the logistics partner's API and becomes active exclusively after the courier executes the initial facility scan.

4. Address Accuracy & Customer Responsibility

The client retains sole and absolute responsibility for providing precise and comprehensive delivery information during the checkout phase, inclusive of the full address, precise PIN code, active contact number, and formal organization name (where applicable).

4.1 Incorrect Address Liability

The Company strictly disclaims all liability and financial responsibility for:

  • Delivery failures originating from inaccurate, incomplete, or illegible address data provided by the user.
  • Missed deliveries resulting from the recipient's physical unavailability at the designated premises.

4.2 Returned Shipments

In the event a logistics partner returns a shipment to our facility due to an incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or refused delivery:

  • Additional re-shipping tariffs will be levied and must be paid in full prior to re-dispatch.
  • Administrative processing of returned goods may necessitate supplementary lead times.

4.3 Address Changes

Logistical address modifications are strictly permissible only prior to the commencement of physical production. Once a component enters the active manufacturing queue, destination alterations are irrevocably locked.

5. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Packages

5.1 Transit Risk Transfer

The moment a packaged asset is formally transferred to the courier, the legal risk of loss, damage, and physical custody transfers entirely to the logistics provider under standard FOB (Free On Board) shipping point terms.

5.2 Damaged Shipments

If a package arrives exhibiting visible external trauma or transit-induced damage, you are contractually obligated to:

  1. Record high-resolution unboxing video or photographic evidence prior to opening.
  2. Formally report the incident within 24 hours of the delivery timestamp.
  3. Email [email protected] with the visual evidence, Invoice Number, and Tracking ID.

Upon verification, the Company will facilitate a courier claim and determine the appropriate resolution (e.g., replacement or claim assistance).

5.3 Lost Shipments

If the courier's tracking telemetry indicates the asset is "lost in transit," the Company will initiate a formal administrative investigation with the provider. No refund or physical replacement will be authorized or processed until the logistics partner issues a formal, written declaration of loss.

5.4 Delivered but Not Received

If tracking telemetry marks the asset as "Delivered," yet physical receipt is contested, the customer must immediately liaise directly with the courier's local dispatch office. The Company's liability is strictly fulfilled upon delivery confirmation; our assistance is limited solely to providing tracking metadata support.

6. International Shipping

For cross-border enterprise logistics:

6.1 Customs & Duties

All customs charges, import duties, and local taxes for international orders must be borne entirely by the customer. The Company will not bear any of these charges at any cost. The importing recipient holds the sole legal and financial responsibility for all sovereign regulatory clearance surcharges.

6.2 Customs Delays

The Company categorically disclaims responsibility for transit elongations caused by sovereign customs inspections, regulatory impoundments, or bureaucratic government holds.

6.3 Customs Clearance Failure & Abandoned Shipments

The Company is strictly not responsible in the event of a failure to clear customs. If an international asset is legally abandoned, seized, or destroyed due to the recipient's failure to clear customs or refusal to remit applicable duties, absolutely no refund will be issued for the bespoke product or the associated shipping tariffs.

7. Digital Delivery of IT Projects & Consultancy

For custom enterprise software development, AI integrations, and technical consultancy, physical shipping is rarely applicable. Delivery is executed digitally via the following protocols:

7.1 Milestone Deployments

Deliverables are deployed to pre-agreed staging environments, cloud infrastructure, or secure code repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) strictly upon milestone completion.

7.2 Acceptance Testing (UAT)

"Delivery" is legally defined as the specific point in time at which the codebase, compiled binary, or system access credentials are formally handed over to the client for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

7.3 Digital Risk Transfer

Once digital access credentials, API keys, or source code repositories are formally transferred to the client's administrative control, the legal risk of data loss, unauthorized access, or subsequent codebase corruption transfers entirely and irrevocably to the client.

8. Force Majeure

The Company shall be fully indemnified and held harmless against any liabilities, delays, or outright failures in fulfillment caused by catastrophic events beyond our reasonable commercial control. Such Force Majeure events include, but are not limited to: severe natural disasters, sovereign government actions or trade restrictions, generalized labor strikes, pandemic-induced lockdowns, catastrophic logistics network failures, and severe supply chain severances.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Company’s maximum aggregate liability for any legitimate shipping-related claim shall be strictly capped and limited to the fiat value of the specific shipped product in dispute.

Under no legal paradigm shall the Company be held liable to compensate for:

  • Indirect, punitive, or consequential losses.
  • Business interruption, operational downtime, or loss of prospective revenue.
  • The cascading impact of delayed delivery.
  • Gross negligence or systemic failures explicitly perpetrated by third-party courier entities.

10. Policy Updates

The Company unilaterally reserves the right to amend, revise, or modify this Policy at its sole discretion to reflect operational or regulatory shifts.

  • Updated iterations will be published directly on this website.
  • Your continued utilization of the Services subsequent to such publication constitutes your irrevocable consent and legal acceptance of the modified terms.
